Whether parent have one, two or more kids – question of buying bunk bed arises for all of them regardless. It makes perfect sense to buy it if there are two kids, although quarrels between them for the right to sleep on second tier will inevitably appear as kids simply love to sleep there, disregarding dangers of falling when they’re asleep. But even with just one kid, it might be inevitable purchase simply because children love them so much, that trundle bed with storage will do just fine as birthday of Christmas present. And of course, if there are more than two kids then it’s simply question of conserving bedroom space.
One might be surprised, but full sized beds with trundle and storage for adults do exist. Apparently, some adults never grow up. Sometimes limited living space can also convince grown-ups to get such a bed, even though it might take more than a few trips around furniture shops to find one. More mundane versions of such beds can be found across various hostels around Europe, where people of low income, students and hippies like to spend their vacations and weekends.
As for class of these products, it is greatly varied. Cheap bunk beds with storage usually look very plain, without any adornments or decorations, their color is mostly white or gray, and materials used leave much to be desired. It is highly unadvisable to buy cheap bunk bed for kids, because this kind of construction requires sturdiness and reliability for there is nothing more precious than safety and health of children. High class trundle beds often made of finest oak wood in baroque and rococo styles, but their price tag is usually affordable only for well off citizens.
